Hi! So I’m very late to finding this great post but found it really useful. I just bought a jacket on eBay and feel like it meets a lot of criteria with the pockets and cuffs, for example. However, the fading is uneven (guessing maybe sun damage or cleaning products gone wrong) and the tag says “Made in France.” Thus, I am bit unsure if this is an authentic French chore coat/work wear. Thoughts?
I purchased a french chore coat from a reputable vintage seller whom I trust. It's longer, more like the length of a lab coat. I can not wait to get home and go over the details contained here. THANK YOU!!
