And Just Like That…
costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago's handpicked collection of pre-loved handbags on Fashionphile!
Welcome to Pre-Loved, an indie media platform about the world of vintage fashion.✍️ This letter is presented by FASHIONPHILE.
Get your popcorn ready, vintage-lovers! It's been nearly two years since the last season of And Just Like That… but we're about to find out what’s next in fashion and frivolity for our favorite New York City friend group when the third season premieres tonight (!!!) May 29th on HBO Max.
Longtime fans of Sex and the City will know the important role vintage plays on the show, and in its revival. One of the most iconic pieces in Sex and the City history is Carrie’s tutu from the opening credits, which became synonymous with the show’s style and sense of whimsical romanticism.

That tutu was a $5 vintage find costume designer Patricia Field dug up at a thrift shop! Famously, Carrie-the-character also liked to “dig for buried treasure” — who remembers the “Hang in There, Baby” halter from that episode where she and Miranda fight?! The way I would have scooped that one from the thrift store…

Such iconic wardrobe moments — once discarded pieces of someone else’s story — came to embody the show’s fearless approach to fashion. That is: pre-loved doesn't mean second-best, and magic happens when you’re willing to see potential where others see “past-its-prime.”
In celebration of the season premiere tonight, the wardrobe masterminds behind And Just Like That's most talked-about fashion moments — from that infamous pigeon clutch to Carrie's vintage Vivienne Westwood resurrection — are bringing their curatorial genius directly to your own closet today, with Fashionphile.
I couldn't help but wonder: what happens when the costume designers who dress Manhattan’s most fashionable fictional women curate a collection for us real-life treasure-hunters? And we’re in luck because EMMY® Award-winning costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago have done just that — handpicked an exclusive collection of pre-loved designer handbags, now available to shop on Fashionphile:
For those who haven’t discovered Fashionphile, let me dish: Fashionphile is a luxury consignment platform where every piece comes with a guarantee of authenticity and a story worth telling.
Think of it as the sophisticated older sister of vintage shopping, where savvy fashion-lovers go to find that perfect Chanel bag without the Chanel price tag.
I asked the team about their partnership with Rogers and Santiago, and honestly? It just make so much sense! As natural as — as Carrie would put it — “a $5 dress to go with $500 shoes.”
Meet our curators: Molly Rogers is a true NYC-original who started her career with the legendary Patricia Field in the ‘80s. She has spent decades turning on-screen characters into walking style legends: from dressing Carrie Bradshaw to transforming Anne Hathaway into Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada.
And Danny Santiago brings three decades of visionary styling to the partnership, with a client roster that reads like a ‘who's who’ of global fashion icons — Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Bad Bunny, Prince, Penélope Cruz, and, yes, Sarah Jessica Parker herself.
Together, this duo masters the art of blending high-fashion with unearthed vintage finds, creating the kinds of looks that simultaneously stop traffic on Madison Avenue and break the internet. “It's wonderful to have access to beautiful, authentic jewelry and bags on a big NYC production, and Fashionphile makes everything easier when we are shooting,” writes Rogers, whose styling eye has made the show’s wardrobe department one of the most closely-watched in television.

With filming wrapped and anticipation at an all-time high (production crews had to film in the dead of night to keep the ‘fits a secret!) one thing is certain: the show’s style will continue to make our moodboards, and inspire our vintage shopping, just as it has since Carrie Bradshaw first graced our screens twenty-seven years ago.
Now, let the same discerning taste that curates And Just Like That go vintage shopping for you — a gift from myself and the team at Fashionphile, from one set of fashion obsessives to another.
And, in true AJLT fashion, every designer pre-loved handbag in this collection is a character in its own right, ready to tell its New York City story. Let's dive right in!
